Marcus Aurelio has suffered an injury during training which has forced him to withdraw from his scheduled main event bout against Valdir Araujo at Championship Fighting Alliance’s CFA 08.
Filling the void left by Aurelio will be UFC veteran Paul “The Gentleman” Bradley. Bradley, a six year mixed martial arts professional, brings a 20-4 record in to his CFA debut. In his most recent bout in June, he recorded a second round technical knockout of Keith Smetana.
When discussing Bradkly, CFA CEO and founder Jorge De La Noval stated, “This is a guy who has fought for Strikeforce and the UFC and is 20-4. He is also a true welterweight. He doesn’t have to cut weight. This will be by far a fight for the ages.”
CFA 08 takes place on October 6th from the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.
