Heavyweight prospect Roger Gracie’s (2-0) much-anticipated U.S. debut
will have to wait, as the Brazilian has bowed out of “Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg.”
A post on GracieMag’s Twitter account stated the 27-year-old has been busy caring for his three-week-old son and unable to rest and train.
“Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg,” featuring four Strikeforce title
fights, takes place Aug. 15 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. The main card airs live on Showtime.
