The first time the American Kickboxing Academy prepared for a bout with Paulo Thiago (11-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), things didn’t work out so well.
AKA welterweight Josh Koscheck suffered a stunning first-round knockout at the hands of Thiago in their February meeting at UFC 95.
Now Koscheck’s teammate, Jon Fitch (18-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will look to
tackle the still-relatively-unknown Brazilian. While Fitch feels confident heading into Saturday’s UFC 100 main-card bout in Las Vegas, the 31-year-old admitted to MMAjunkie.com Radio that Thiago
still presents a variety of challenges.
